f <br /> Fire Station Building Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> November 9, 2000 <br /> Present: Joyce Mason, George Baker, Dr. Elizabeth Fetti, <br /> Peter Thomas, Sheldon Hamblin <br /> Absent: George We niak, Charles Stone <br /> Guests: Clerk of the Works--Ernest Virgilio <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Mason at 1;05 p.m. <br /> -Masbpee Fire &Rescue Station. <br /> MINUTES: <br /> ThursdU, October 26, 2000: <br /> Motion made by Mr. Baker to approve the minutes of <br /> Tbursday, October 26, 2000 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Dr. Petti. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. <br /> PROJECT OVERVIEW: <br /> Structural: The reconfiguration of the roof as necessitated by structural <br /> code requirements, is presently es hmted to cost $5,000 t $10,000. <br /> .interior Color Scheme: The Committee agreed with the interlo'r color <br /> scheme proposal. Color schematics to be incorporated into the newly <br /> constructed building include shades of maroon, beige and off-white. <br /> dark teed carpet, "morocco" will encompass the floors of the <br /> administrative offices. Dight beige d-tile will be installed in the bunk <br /> quarters. The walls, off-white will be coordinated with a darker beige- <br /> toned baseboard. The doors are maroon in color. <br /> Second Floor Concrete. The Committee agreed to document the present <br /> condition of the second floor of the administrative vying. It was noted that <br /> the concrete was poured during rain.conditions, The concrete its <br /> present state does not have a smooth finish. The Connitittee agreed t <br /> request that the concrete condition be corrected, and that a separate <br /> guarantee be considered for this aspect of the project. The Committee will <br /> not accept the use of any fillers to correct the present concrete condition. <br />
