Delay costs and
liability issues were deemed a priority as incremental costs continue.
The Committee recommended that all change orders be reviewed in full to
determine and identify the applicable parties of assumed liability and
responsibility.
It was noted that Amann& Whitney assumed design flaw costs relative
to foundation corrections in the amount of$11, 0 and that the general
contractor has not submitted a detailed cost estimate to date of the
intended roof reconfiguration.
The matter of change orders was discussed. It was noted that change
orders are often modified!, and work is unable to proceed unless a change
order is approved.
