Program for the February 17th Meeting at the Library will be Bob Davis, <br /> well known WORC Radio Announcer and professional portrait photographer, <br /> will give a slide production on Decorating with Photography . . Come and <br /> see something different and interesting. <br /> 2. Our program for the March 17th Meeting will be conducted by Mrs. Arnold H. <br /> Swenson - COOKBOOKS GALORE - This will be a display of unusual COOKBOOKS <br /> and Mrs Swenson will explain the contents and answer questions and every- <br /> thing you ever wanted to know about cooking. <br /> 3. In April our Meeting on the 21st will be on a subject of much concern <br /> these days .. Paul H. Raymer, President of the Weather Energy Systems Inc. <br /> of Pocasset, will talk about SOLAR ENERGY "The Energy of Yesterday, Today <br /> and Tomorrow". This is a great opportunity to learn about a source of <br /> energy that is useful for heating our homes. <br /> Officers for the 1980 - 81 year will be voted on at this April Meeting- <br /> Please be present to Vote. <br /> All of the above programs will be at the Library starting at 1:00 P.M. <br /> followed by a short business meeting. Please come and bring a friend. <br /> In recognition of National Library Week, we are sponsoring a Puppet Show <br /> for the children on Saturday, April llth at 10:00 A.M. at the <br /> • Mashpee Senior Citizens Center. The program will be put on by the <br /> Mimsy Puppets of Harwich. They will present THE ADVENTURES OF PINACCHIO. <br /> in honor of the little puppet' s 100th Birthday. <br /> Anyone having the time. The Library would like volunteers willing to <br /> deliver books to people confined to their homes, please call 477 - 0323 <br /> for further information. <br /> We applaud Richard G. Shaughnessya Director, for renovating a former <br /> custodian's supply closet into a clean, usable and much needed coat closet <br /> in the Library. He did this on a volunteer basis, a job well done for <br /> the Tovm. <br /> Congratulations to. our faithful Library Volunteers. <br /> Last but not least, your President, through his diligent pursuit over the <br /> past several months, had the Town install new asphalt sidewalks, a ramp <br /> and metal railings leading into our Library -- making it easier and safer <br /> walking not only for the handicapped but for young and older people alike, <br /> Again, please make it a point to visit our pleasant and informative <br /> Cultural Center here in Town . . . .
