He has given a new schedule for
this work to the maintenance department.
I
Volunteers continue to help on Saturdays . Their help is
essential for library operation. At present Mrs. Fordham
and I cannot complete book cataloging and finish other
essential work. I would like to hire Mrs . Lucas for several
days in March to help bring the cataloging up to date.
• The annual report on the library has been prepared for the
selectmen. All department heads met with Mr. MurVhy in
January to learn more about the impact of Prop. 22 on
budgets for 1981-82. After this meeting, I have concluded
that the library should request exactly what we need to
maintain present services , and a reasonable estimate given
as to costs to provide resources and services wnich the
residents of Mashpee expect from their library.
Financial Statement - January, 1981
_ Balances on hand:
Expense Account $4345.41
Wage Account $ 1960.18
Salary Account $2987.19
Incentive Grant $1274.09
• Gloria Selander
Librarian
