Library Trustees December 121, 1983 page 3 The following possibilities were discussed: opening one more evening during the summer; increasing summer hours ; changing the winter/summer schedules . It was moved by o . Robertson , seconded by B . Towner and unani- mously nani- mously voted that beginning .dune 1 , 1984 the summer open hours n Thursday will be from 1 :00 to 8 :00 PIS; and that the Winter hours on Tuesday will be from 1 : 00 to 8 : 00 PM - making a total. of 30 hours per week in the summer 'and 26 hours per week in the winter . (See attached schedule) The change in wages will be adjusted in the budget by Mrs . Kingsley * STI New Business : Holiday Schedule . It was moved by B . 'towner , seconded by A. Fitzgerald , and unanimously voat.ed that the Library would be closed on Saturday , December 24 and Saturday , December 31. (Mrs . Kingsley withdrew from the meeting. Contract for Librarian : - After discussion of Mrs . Kingsley ` s service as librarian , including commendation of her job performance , s-upervis ion of staff and volunteers , approach to patrons , the Board unanimously voated that Mrs . Selander be authorized to send a letter of commendation to firs - Kingsley indicating that her contract would be renewed , and expressing the Board' s' confidence in tl�c professional manner in which she has served as Librarian i of the ash-pee Public Library . sub-committee consisting of G. Selander , o. Robertson and A.
