Some decisions will
have to be made with regard to accessibility to the building .
There was concensus that there should not be any "closed"
sign on the door . It was recommended that one hour' s additional
time for three days a week for the librarian and assistant
librarian - Wednesday and Friday at the end of the present
hours ; and Thursday before the opening hour would be good .
It was moved by A. FitzGerald and seconded by A. Swenson
to include in the salary and wage budget presentation for .
fiscal 1986 , an increase in the current working hours -
three hours each - for the librarian and assistant librarian .
The vote was unanimous .
B . Other
Mrs . Kingsley reported that Mr . Samuel Re is willing .to approach
the Exxon Annuitants Fund again for library equipment , and
that she had suggested a copy machine. This matter will be
explored further .
She presented several graphs showing changes in relation to
circulation, number of books , budget etc . , over the years .
There was consensus that these charts did not give a full
and adequate picture , and possibly percentage comparisons
would be . more meaningful .
;,ys
