Towner (due to illness <br /> II Minutes : The minutes of the February 5 meeting were accepted . <br /> III Reports <br /> A. librarian : The Librarian ' s report was accepted as read . <br /> B . Friends : Mrs . Fordham was not present . The Friends are <br /> prepared to go forward with the "ad" campaign , and <br /> volunteers will meet on Tuesday , March 19 to prepare the <br /> envelopes for mailing . Mrs . Kingsley reported that Mr , Re ,, <br /> on behalf of the Friends , has submitted an application to <br /> Exxon for a grant to purchase a 16 nim projector. <br /> C . Building Committee : Mrs . Kingsley reported that Mr . Shaughnessy <br /> called for an emergency discussion of committee members on <br /> March 5 , He reported on a meeting with the Selectmen and <br /> Fields Point representatives . Fields Point submitted a <br /> plan layout (copy attached) with new proposals : straightening <br /> of Job ' s Fishing Road and access to Police and Fire Stations ; <br /> and proposals for a Catholic Church , Town Hall and Town <br /> Common on the south side of Route 151 . The plan also suggests <br /> moving the Library to the south side of Route 151 . This <br /> would mean an exchange of land donated to the town for the <br /> library , for a new site across the road . Mr . Shaughnessy <br /> indicated that this would change the wording of the warrant <br /> article to ; "town-owned land off Route 151 . " No final <br /> decisions have been made . <br /> Correspondence from Mr . Ploag of the Mass . Board of Library <br /> indicates that applications for grants will be mailed to all <br /> libraries that have submitted requests . They ill be due <br /> back earlyin May . Approval will probably be made in June <br /> or July . Proposals will then go , after approval , to the <br /> Commissioner of Education for final approval .
