Board of Trustees March 11 , 1985 - page Old Business (con ' s , Other : Selling of Equipment,: Erchases wade with state funds are considered "town funds" and equipment sold proceeds go to the town account . If no other department wishes library equipment , it can go into the town ' s "general auction . " Library equipment can be offered to other Cape libraries j under a 'sealed bid" plan . The minigraph is in this category , along with a considerable quanity of un-used minigraph supplies . Mrs . Kingsley will follow through on way to dispose of the machine . . Do& Tag Monies : An article has been submitted for the May meeting warrant - about $400 , which is less than last year . Utility Bills : It was unanimously agreed to submit an article for the special. Town Meeting warrant "to raise and appropriate" monies to cover unpaid utility bills . The amount is in the neighborhood of $800 . lei intenance for T e writer : The typewriter maintenance should be provided for in future budgets . At present it is budgeted through June 30 . firs . Kingsley will check with Town Counsel to determine if we can "purchase" a maintenance contract . Insurance Protct,ion for Librarian : The matter of the librarian ' s use of her personal auto in connection with library business was discussed . There was consensus that she should have insurance protection , and whether or not such protection is covered by workmen ' s compensation or otherwise was not clear , Mrs . Kingsley will get further information and report b ck @ Librarian Is Contract : The librarian ' s contract will be on the agenda for e April meeting . three-year contract has been previously discussed . However , in light of the proposals for a new building, there may be significant charges in hours and services , and a long-term contract right now may not be wise . There was agreement that the up-coming contract should be a one-year contract . The matter will be more fully discussed in April . i
