Administration <br /> Plan <br /> Attached is a copy of a PAP memo dated 7/30/86. Changes have <br /> been made to the PAP since my contract was signed on 6/9/86 . <br /> I would like to request an addendum to my contract to bring <br /> the benefits regarding vacation, bereavement leave and longevity <br /> into line with the most recent PAP. The charges are outlined <br /> below. <br /> VACATION <br /> Contract: 1 day for -each month during the year <br /> PAP: 1-3 years 1 day for each month worked in the <br /> previous fiscal year <br /> 4-10 gears-- 1 days for each month. . . <br /> after- 10 -- 2 days for each month. . . <br /> Contract: "Vacation leave may not be carried over- or accumulated -,from one fiscal year to another. " <br /> PAS,: "Employees can accumulate -fifty percent ( 50% ) of the <br /> vacation dans credited based on service in a prior <br /> fiscal year up to a maximum of ten ( 10 ) days. "' <br /> Contract: --- <br /> PAP: <br /> __PAP: "Employees who are eligible for vacations and whose <br /> services are terminated by retirement, by entrance <br /> into the Armed Forces,- by resignation or by termination <br /> for reasons other than '"for cause" shall be paid a <br /> pro-rated accrued vacation allowance. This a ment <br /> shall be reduced by any leave charged against <br /> vacation tine. 11 <br /> BEREAVEMENT LEAVE <br /> Contract: employer will grant three ( ) working dans leave <br /> with pair, starting with the dr after the death. <br /> . . . immediate family shall mean:: wife, husband, <br /> mother, father,, child, brother, sister, mother-in-law, <br /> or father-in--law and grandparents,. " <br /> PAP: "A. In the event of a death in an employee ' s immediate <br /> family, the Town will grant up to four 4 calendar <br /> days leave without loss of pair starting with the day <br /> f the death. For the purpose of this provision, <br /> immediate family shall mean: wife, husband, mother, <br /> father, child, and brother or sister. <br /> B. An employee will be granted up to two ( 2 ) calendar <br /> dans leave without loss of pair in the event of a death <br /> f a brother-in-law, sister-in-law, mother-in-law, <br /> father-in-law, or grandparents.
