Additional computer in use: Mimi explained that Helene had done some reorganizing; the other computer was placed in the carrel along with those that were used by the patrons. It was being put to good use. VI NEW BUSINESS: A. Discussion of October 7th Town Meeting* Mimi explained that she had understood there had been some discussion pertaining to the library. Helene explained that there were four other department articles which affected the' library`. 1. The approval of the Union Contract that the Selectmen had negotiated with the new union from the department heads and the assistant de- partment heads. This was a three year contract which started i n ,July of 1995. A year had already gone by before this had been hammered out and approved. It was passed at the Town Meeting, October 7th. one change that noes come under the contract, Bob Whritenour will perform all of the employee valuations, Therefore, instead of the Library Trustee. doing Helene's evaluation, Bob Whritenour will do it. 2. . The ,second article which affected the library; there was a C. 0. L. raise for the P.. AQ P. employees. The other four employees of the library are still part of the P. A. P. That also went back to - Fiscal '96. -'they approved a 3% C. 0. L. for Fiscal. '96 and a 2 1/2% for Fiscal ' 97. That passed with very little discussion. . The other articles that affected the library were the make-up of the C, I. P. Committee and the reporting procedure.
