MIMI MARSH RICHARD SHAUGHNESSY II -Mimi wanted to go on record-- to state that .Charlotte Faneuil , one of our board members passed away . yesterday morning , January- 27 , 1999 . Charlotte will certainly- be missed . III REPORTS : Helene passed out to the meeting the wording of the Article , and the explanation. Carlos has made a few suggestions which will be incorporated into the Article. The deadline for this is February 8th, so they should have this properly prepared by the f first of the week. Helene explained that she also had - to submit two other Articles , as required by .t"his grant . There was suggested wording in the package that was submitted to Helene. Basically , the one that states the -Town is aware that . vie are do ing a building project , and the Town is saying , "Yes".., . that the Trustees can submit aplicat,ions f r. grants this prof ec.t ,. and this -is- a re- quirement of the State. Carlo stated they wool-d fine-tune the wording for what they have , and improve upon its Helene reported on the program that they . had prepared for the library. It aired Wednesday, January 27th at 3 : 30 p . m. It will be 'aired. on Channel 3. thisweek-end Friday,, Saturday, and Sunday at 4 : 00 p . M, Helene . stated that a .really nice job had been done. Ticket sales for the c.on.cert have picked up the past f ew- days . Discussion. of distribution of tickets for the concert . Architectural plans for the library expansion : Dick stated that the one cape l.ibrar'y. that he had seen, that stood out in his mind was the W. Yarmouth library on Rt . , 28o The trustees had individually and collectively seen it . It de- veloped that Gaffney Associates had been the architects of note . As .it turned out , Gaffney Associates had all of the plans . They had gene back. to W., Yarmouth and inquired 1f it would be agreeable if Mashpee Library used their plans for our building , They agreed . Dick explained that it was interesting to mote that the total plans and architectural fees from Gaffney were under $25 , 000.
