It would b required tha-t a letter be submitted to the selectmen indicating interest should be done fairly -soon . Gary Eynatian indicated an interest in representing the trustees on this committee. A new process is ng- established whereby they- are , forming a committee to pre- pare th-e long range plan. It has -been .sugges.ted it is better to bring in- some peopl.=e... rom the community.. Helene would like to have a trustee or two z:rho would be interested , Anton volunteered to work on the long range plan committee. Discussion relative to suggestions for selectmen and townspeople who should be encouraged to volunteer, Discussion relative to the selection of an architect regarding th.e library rary .e p n i re . Flag Day Parade : Helene reported . that the Flag Day Parade- date has been changed to Saturday, June 19th. ..Teri advised that the' library planned to serge water and - lemonade from a table- directly outside of the meeting-room door to the participants in the parade. We borrowed slightly more from other libraries than we lent out . We borrowed 282 items from other libr-arl.e .2 0 items were lent to other libraries for--th-eir patrons,, Patron visits-,: 4",1226, We are J u -t short of 100, 000 items for the year.
