DeFoe From: Janet Burke Re: Monthly Report The month of November was quite busy *n the children's room with storytn" nes, reshool visits, first grade field trips and the commencement of"Arthur's Library r Adventure Club" for elementary school aged children. Toddle Tine, for the under three crowd, was held each Monday. Participation was as follows: November 1 — 17 children plus adults November �'— 19 children plus adults November 1 `''_ 19 children plus adults November 22"d—20 children plus adults Preschool Story Hour was also held on Mondays. Participation was as follows: November 1 — 15 children plus adults November 81h— 18 children plus adults November 15 Ire�- 14 children plus adults November 22"d- 15 children plus adults There were three est grade classes and one second grade class which visited the library for Meld trips this month: November 2n—Mrs. Goulart's Class—21 students November 2n—Mrs. Dean's Class—20 students November 12'h—Mrs. Shackett's Mass—22 students November 17 Ih - Mrs, Wilbur's Mass—21 students "Arthur's Library Adventure Club" started in November. The response from school- aged children was quite impressive. I had planned to limit the enrollment to 12 students to make it a small group and meaningful experience for the children. However, 14 children enrolled so I thea started a wait list with the intention of possibly runmg the -week program again in January. I now have 12 children enrolled for January. The weekly participation was as follows: November 2"a — 10 November 9h- 12 November 10h-T 11 November 23d — November 30th— 12 Farm'ly Storytime was Meld on November 6h. The theme of"Humorous Turley Tales"and"How to find Thanksgiving Crafts on the Net"attracted 12 participants,
