' I''_ 16 children and parents <br /> Dec. 13 Ih— 15 children and parents <br /> The Arthur Library Adventure Club continued through the month of December. The <br /> attendance was as follows: <br /> Dec. "'— 12 <br /> Dec. 14"— I 1 <br /> Dec. 21"— 12 <br /> The Kids Klub Preschool visited the library on Dec. 1'. 27 children enjoyed story <br /> hour and checked out books. <br /> On Dec. 2"d I attended a SEMS Workshop entitled "Navigating the World Wide <br /> Web". This extremely valuable workshop inerea my own knowledge ledge and my <br /> ability to help patrons with Internet searches. <br /> On Dec. P I had a meeting with Jinn Miller, the director of the Boys and Girls Club. <br /> He gave nye a personal tour of the new facility and vire discussed possible ways of <br /> collaborating on projects. He offered the use of the building at any ti.rne, and I <br /> booked a prograrn with him for next summer. <br /> Family Storytirne was held on Dec. 4 Ih. An audience of 10 enjoyed seasonal stories, <br /> songs and a puppet show. <br /> The Children's Librarians Roundtable was held on Dec. 17'h in Eastham. Katie <br /> Baxter from SEMIS joined our meeting and gave us an update on Youth Services <br /> Workshops available this spring, and dates to keep in mind for planning the summer <br /> reading program. We also discussed the Cape Cod Times Message Page, creating a <br /> directory of local performers, and we shared holiday books and craft ideas. <br /> Stor time for Day Care Providers was held on Dec. 22"d.
