Friends of the Library . Jim Walker reported that the Friends <br /> had had a December meeting whore he asked all members to bring <br /> a friend to the meeting.. <br /> The January Friends meeting will be January 30th at 1 : 00 p . m. <br /> This is where they will stagy-rt a skeleton of their fund <br /> raising . <br /> BuildingCommittee : David explained that while th.e building <br /> Committee had not formally met in some months , the grant ap- <br /> plication <br /> p- <br /> plication was find of the end product of the building com- <br /> m i t <br /> -mit t e . <br /> David was In attendance with Helene and Ed DeFoe , and <br /> Darlene Powers at the Capital meeting . They had the oppor- <br /> tunity to do a sho-rt ,presentation.# The finance committee <br /> was present . Between Helene and Darlene , they did a wonder- <br /> ful job . It was very well received . It was suggested to <br /> the building committee that they present another of their <br /> informal workshops with the selectmen and the Fin Corm in an- <br /> ticipation <br /> n- <br /> tie .pation Of their May 7th Town Meeting . Attendant to that , <br /> Darlene , Hel-erre and David9, and , anyone who was� interested <br /> was welcome to attend . <br /> They will be meeting with Fields Point * Bob Chase , Doug <br /> Storrs , and their people , part of thesign-off on the design. <br /> They will have architectural review. All along they have <br /> purported to be su.pPortive. of what the. building committee <br /> wanted to do . This is scheduled - for February 7th at 2 p . m. <br /> at the Field ' s point office. Bob Whritenour and Helene will <br /> represent the Town. David will . represent the board . Fields <br /> Point has offered some support to the building committee, <br /> either in the form f design fees , or what have you <br />
