Library Director - Helene DeFoe : A copy of the library direc- tor ' s report is attached for your information . Helene explained that she had completed -the library inventory that had been mentioned during last month' s meeting. An adjuster- for the town' s insurance company ret with Helene.' Helene gave him. cony of the inventory which the adjuster will review. The adjuster will suggest to the Town that the library install smoke detectors in the attic. Helene had also mentioned last month that they would .prepare the Capital Improvement Budget, Helene raet with Joyce Mason to discuss what should be included ire the capital Budget. They worked on a three phase project. ' For'-the first year, $350 ,000 which would be for design work for the building. She sug- gested $10 ,000 in the next }phase for any kind of final design and bidding package, and four million in the third phase for construction and equiping the library. Joyce suggested that the location was something the building committee should discuss at a meeting 'in the very near future, since they cannot go forward until that decision is - finalized. Copies of the Fiscal Year 2003 capital Improvement- Program budget were, passed to the trustees- four, thein review. B.
