DeFoe From: Janet Burke Re: Monthly Report The month of December began with Family Story Tilme on December 1". 12 participants attended the story time theme of"Celebrate the Holidays Mexican Style"with stories, Mforrnation and a pinata. On December ` I attended a workshop provided by the State Ethics Commission. I found it informative to learn about the Conflict of Interest Law. On December 10�h, Kathleen and I held a Drop-in Holiday Storytir a and Craft. The attendance was 8. The Kids Klub After School program visited the library on December 1 Vh. 12 students in grades 3 through 6 had a tour of the Children's Room and checked out books. Kids Klub Preschool visited the library on December 12th. 23 children enjoyed holiday stories and a piftata. The Children's Librarians Roundtable Meeting was held in Eastham on December 141". The fall session of story Mmes concluded during the first week of December. The attendance was as follows: Dec. 3d Toddle Time I 21 Toddle Time II 1 Dec. 5h Babies on Board Books 8 On December 28h, during the vacation week, Kathleen ran a Drop-m' Craft Activity with the help of two junior volunteers. This activity was attended by only 3 participants (Kathleen's own children). On December 3 1"an Art-I-Gras Sto rytime was held with only 4 Participants. Unfortunately, the library storytime was not included in any of the Art-1-Gras publicity.
