r- <br /> Capital budget is due Friday. _ <br /> $400,,000 total for Design Project. $120,000 alreadyl ro riated, $280,,000 for Design to <br /> go to next Town Meeting. <br /> David to assist in estimating cost of cornmercial space to be used in interim. Booking for <br /> 4,000 square feet. (Library has 5,000 square feet here now). <br /> $4-Million dollars for Library Construction. (Looking for$ -Million from Torn). <br /> Timeframe: Consensus was that design be budgeted for FY200 . Construction and <br /> temporary space be budgeted for FY2005. <br /> Working on proposed$80,000 gift from Mashpee Commons—still not approved. <br /> Therefore this money remains in estimated design budget figure. <br /> Buildinz Committee U�d t <br /> David reported on the Building Committee. David concluded his update by saying it is gratifying <br /> to see the Building Committee chaired and peopled by such a great group and how the fund raising <br /> committee is taking off too. <br /> Communications <br /> Helene reported she did -mail as a follow-up response to the writer at Upper Cape Cod because <br /> Helene was not satisfied with how the quotes she made in earlier interview were reported. The <br /> reporter was okay with the e-mail approach. <br /> Old Business <br /> Helene c nfirrr►ed the state aid forms have been submitted and we should be certified. <br /> Aran mentioned that at a Kiwanis meeting last week Shirley McCormack cCormack spore about a current <br /> feasibility study going on for Children's Museum. Right now discussing feasibility of a One <br /> Million Dollar campaign. <br /> Next Meeting <br /> Tuesday, December 10, 2002, at 630 p.m. in Library Meeting Room. <br /> Adjournment <br /> Dianne motioned to adjourn the meeting-,Alice seconded this motion; and it was unanimously <br /> passed.
