Staffing The Trustees-dose sse �length the critical situation at the Library and the need to add staff. This situation became worse when 2 staff members were hit with medical emergencies on the same day. In addition,the temporary person will be leaving in October. Motion: Ann MacDonald-Dailey motioned that David should draft a letter to Wayne Taylor asking Wayne, as liaison to the Library, to request Joyce Mason and the Board of Selectmen to ,approve hiring staff and advise them that the situation is critical and has been for the past year. Carlo ' ste seconded the motion and it was unanimously passed. In discussing further, it was also suggested that David include in the letter a comparison of Mashpee Library staffing to other community library staff sizes; also, advise of the latest emergency situation the Library had to face. Finally, it was the consensus that perhaps a videotape shoving activity at the Library might be helpful. ]avid ill pursue this. Communications David brought the Trustees up to date on the Building Committee presentation to the Board of Selectmen. He also mentioned the Sean Gonsalves article in Cape Cod Times. David got response from.the Building Department regarding the request to add a shed for book sale storage. In addition,Buff Chace turned the mater over to John Benz, and it's in committee riga no . David said he will follow-up. Old Business David announced that Carlo D'Este appeared on C-SPAN in July. New Business Ann asked about the possibility of having the one-day Lobster Roll and Bova Sale event and ung it into the Mashpee Commons Oktoberfest event in October.
