Shelley will use Iashpee's need for Mfunding nding a an <br /> example of the importance ofthis bill to local libraries. <br /> Ann advised that the Tea Party for Manners and Mermaids Auction was held and was a success. It <br /> was bought for$350. <br /> August 6 New Seabury Association Annual Meeting–If architect can't come, it was suggested that <br /> perhaps Shelley would do the presentation. <br /> LlOhEPMNewsletter <br /> Helene advised that several articles have been submitted to Nancy Stafford but due to a personal <br /> situation Nancy hasn't been able to release the Newsletter..vsletter..Marilynn Brooks is working on it and will <br /> be putting something out. <br /> Old Business <br /> Helene advised that Ted Nadoy.showed Janet and Helene hove to put data on the Friends' website. <br /> Helene is not sure whether or not the Site has been made public yet because some entries still to be <br /> done. Helene will show the Trustees the site following the conclusion of this meeting. <br /> .shed arrived 10 days ago at the Library site but there are some things to be done before books can be <br /> moved into the shed—namely: power line to be run to the shed and they,just put Mn skylights now. <br /> Nancy Soderberg distributed a copy of an e-mail she forwarded to the Trustees regarding her <br /> researching into the'question of whether or not there were any restrictions on number of terms Library <br /> Trustee to serve. Conclusion: no term constraints. Copy of this a-mail is attached to the printed set o <br /> these minutes. Helene commented that since she has been here(16 years in October),the whole Board <br /> of Trustees has changed several tomes so there has never been a situation where Board is long-team.
