There were 14 in attendance who celebrated <br /> Cinco de Mayo at the library with stories,songs and make-your-own mini pinata. <br /> I visited the Kids Klub Preschool on May 10`h and brought story time to 21 children in <br /> the morning session and 12 children in the afternoon. <br /> On May 15th I met with Vickie Beene-Beavers, Assistant Administrator for Youth <br /> Services from SEMLS, and J.R. Mello, the Education Director at the Boys and Girls <br /> Club. Vickie was doing outreach to promote MyOwnCafe.org, a website for teens which <br /> is sponsored by SEMLS. I was able to learn more about the website, and also meet both <br /> Vickie and J.R, for the first time. <br /> I attended the Children's Librarians Roundtable Meeting in Wellfleet on May 19th. We <br /> discussed summer reading programs and Roundtable plans for next year. Terri Lippman, <br /> a former preschool teacher, volunteered her time to present Preschool Story Hour and <br /> Craft while I attended the meeting. <br />
