Ma tepee also participated in the Statewide Summer Reading Progararn, Regional Reference Service,-Interlibrary Loan and train ng courses. S l�S figured out dollar amounts,for each of the services, based on the amount of each service that Mashpee used. All costs were paid by the state and the services were free to the library. New Libra �ro'ect Shelly Gilbert said he still has not received information on application for grants submitted on behalf o Ma tepee. He said-he does rl now a grant was applied for to Bank of America, which was rejected. 9holly said he still has a copy of a list that was put together in the beginning of possible grants. Shelly has made one last request to Kristen for the list of those grants applied for by Toni O'Neill. If not forthcoming, then Shelly said they�d take the original list and contact the grantors to see whether or not we could apply for a grant. shell y advised that he e-mailed Stewart Robinson and costs for the new 11br ry are still valid. .Shelly said there are options for fundraising. For instance, do we go for grants; do we go for naming rights contributions? Shelly feels it is important the events room in the neer library building should be expanded. He said it could be a way to bring in revenue. Shelly said there is no urgency but urged the Trustees to do some exploring of options...some idem: C66-type addition to raise money and tie-in vith someone life Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts. Carlo said what about getting someone like Starbucks or Rankin Donuts to pay towards the building and have cafV Shelly suggested Trustees should consider and maybe explope pros and eons. He said maybe groups could be brought in who would use and pay for the facilities. Ann MacDonald- Dailey said maybt the Chamber of Commerce could help with that. New Business Book Sales ...Helene advised that ding July and August the Friends do the book sales every week. She said there is a new person sating up the book sale this time. Last week of the month book donations are accepted. Nangy Stafford...rd...Carlo recommends that anyone who serves on the Board deserves a letter of recognition when they go off the Board and he suggested Haat we send a letter to Nancy Stafford.
