This month's circulation was <br /> . <br /> TD, the library has circulated 39,947 items, which is 312 items less than the <br /> same point last year. September 2006 was a bit busier than this year 91 g its <br /> more . Perhaps it is,due to ouf renewing DVDs and VHS tapes, We changed <br /> Policies last spring to conform to other CLAMS locations. Prior to the charge, <br /> these-items were non-renewable. That brought patrons-i -ori a weekly bases and <br /> they usually checked out additional Items. If they are renewing by phone, that <br /> might account for the somewhat lower total. <br /> Bridget and I.attended a Visioning meeting for the CLAMS libraries on <br /> September.12th. It was an opportunity to meet with other CLAMS librarians,, and <br /> Network staff to discuss where we see CLAMS going in the future, Cindy Roach, <br /> Director-of SEMLS, facilitated the meeting. After discussing the pluses and <br /> minuses, it was agreed that we will focus in on the issues that w- ere most <br /> important to the group: <br /> I will be representing the library on the subcommittee of the Planning and <br /> Construction committee to review applications for a project manager. An RFP <br /> has been prepared and will appear in the central register next week. <br /> pp <br /> licabons are due the first Orel f [november. The subcommittee will review <br /> the submissions and recommend a candidate to the Board of Selectmen for their <br /> December meeting. stege cook is now the chairman of the P&eC and will chair <br /> the subcommittee as well. Shelly Gilbert and Irving Goldberg make up the rest of <br /> the subcommittee with Catherine Laurent representing the Town. <br /> 4 <br /> I have completed the arcual Financial Forms required by the MBLC.
