Friends of the Libra ` <br /> Friends had a meeting today(January and a good portion of the.meeting had a lob to do with <br /> "Green" Library. <br /> Steve Cook is looking for Friends to put their commitment in meting since Town cannot go-forward <br /> based on verbal statements. <br /> Shelly stated-that at the conclusion of the Friends' meeting, he made a motion to spend 100.,,000 on <br /> energy improvements and they VAII look at the list of what's proposed. In addition,part.of the motion <br /> stated that rebates are to come back to the Friends. Shelly said the Fn*ends would consider other <br /> energy impro eme t projects when rebates do come back.. <br /> • What Fn'ends need from-architect and Planning and Construction is some type of"price-tag" listing to <br /> know what would be most beneficial and cost-effective. Shelly said that Steve Cooly said they should <br /> have this listing around March. <br /> At the Friends' meeting Barbara Notarius announced that the new issue of Preface will be coming out <br /> in February and that Nancy Stafford is busy workffig on the layout. <br /> Libram.Trustee Members <br /> Ann 11 acI onald-Dailey said she is Willing to continue on the Board until her replacement is elected at the <br /> May election, or if someone cones forward prior to the election she is willing to submit her resignation <br /> immediately. Aran reiterated that she is willing to do whatever works best for the Library'Trustees. She <br /> commented that even though she sells her home, she still would be a property owner in Mashpee and would <br /> still meet that requirement.
