rknds of the Libra Helene said that Barbara Notarius has a neighbor who gives workshops on grants. Helene said this is the workshop on grants she attended at the Community College and it was excellent, Helene said Barbara has made arrangements with the neighbor to give a workshop to some of the Friends and Helene will meet with the group after they take the workshop to discuss the-library's needs for a grant proposal. Helene advised that the Friends are very close to f inAin the package to be ruled out to high-end donors. Library Prolect Jane Bolan informed the Trustees that she attended the.line "a 1'lanang and Construction Committee meg. Jane summarized what was discussed at that meeting with regard to the library project as follows: 0 The design is expected to be %complete M the next 2 weeks. The design is expected to be 100%complete and out to bid mid-to late July. Acceptance of low bid and award September and an October start. Final review of landscape plan is expected shortly. 0 There will be.a meg in the next week or two with Mashpee Commons to discuss some issues they have with respect to the design. A -page letter was received that outlines their concerns. Concerns raised were lack of parallel parking Tong access road to library, colors and Wishes, storm water discharge and wastewater discharge. Mashpee Commons will not sign off on design unfit satisfactory responses to their concerns have been provided. Will physically be seeking the-finds from Friends-shortly for Fv system and money from bricks and benches. ZA sign-off received last month. All requested variances were approved. Only issues that remain are storm water and wastewater discharge details. 0 Haztnat survey has been scheduled for Thursday in preparation for building demolition. Helene added a com ient here that they don't anticipate any problems to arise since budding was alt in 1986 and asbestos was already not allowed afthat time. Friends' book sale at old location Saturday, June 7h. Proposal to shut off`gas and water but retain electricity, Helene commented here that this has been clone, 0 Invoices were approved. Helene informed the.Trustees that the feeling of the Planning and-Construction Co riitte is that we're going to be fine within the proposed budget for the Library building project.
