Mr. Lehrer suggested seeing how <br /> Mr. Murner's actions address the issue. <br /> Mr. Balzarini inquired what Naukabout was using for their overflow parking. Mr, Murner <br /> responded that customers were being directed to Veteran's Park,using the crosswalk to cross <br /> Route 130 to access the brewery. In addition,Naukabout was attempting to educate their <br /> customers not to park at the beach. Board members stated that Naukabout would likely be as <br /> busy in the summertime as they were during opening weekend. Mr. Weeden stated that it was <br /> good to see the old Flume doing well,but expressed concern about parking along Mill Pond and <br /> Lake Avenue, as well as in the Attaquin community parking. Mr. Weeden also expressed <br /> concern regarding emergency vehicle access during the summer, as well as potential damage to <br /> the wetlands. Chairman Waygan agreed about the potential for damage to the wetland,noting <br /> that the area would be damaged by vehicles and the road was considered a scenic view. Mr. <br /> Murner responded that both the Fire Department and the Police Department had been monitoring <br /> the situation and he would continue to work closely with them. Mr. Murner wished to be <br /> proactive about resolving any issues and was open to suggestions. The Chair confirmed that she <br /> had seen the signage regarding no parking at the beach and directing customers to park at <br /> Veteran's Park. The Chair inquired whether Naukabout had held discussions with the Town <br /> regarding parking at Veteran's Park and the community gardens. Mr. Murner responded that <br /> they had not had a discussion with the Town. The Chair stated that customers should not be <br /> parking at the herring run or museum and Mr. Weeden confirmed that it was Reservation land: <br /> Mr. Murner agreed that they Would not direct customers to park at those locations. <br /> There was question regarding the possibility of additional parking on site and Mr. Rowley <br /> confirmed that there was little space available. Mr. Murner stated that they were encouraging <br /> Uber rides adding that they wished to be good neighbors. Mr. Lehrer recommended monitoring <br /> the situation as the customer became educated by the brewery and encouraged good <br /> communication with the Planning Department. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Mashpee Commons Update-The Chair reported that there had been two additional <br /> Tuesday Talks, one regarding Infrastructure, including the map of the Greenway, and Zoning for <br /> the Needs of the Future. Both talks were available on video through the Mashpee Commons <br /> Facebook page. The schedule of activities for the Mashpee Commons Master Plan Week, May <br /> 4-May 9,had been announced. Mr. Lehrer stated that the charrette was a design in place means <br /> to visualize how code could look at Mashpee Commons. Participation from the town's <br /> population would allow for the exchange of the public's vision built into regulatory language <br /> with architects, designers and planners on site, drafting language and drawing in real time to <br /> develop a framework for the future. <br /> Mr. Balzarini inquired about challenges with the existing zoning. Mr. Lehrer responded that <br /> Mashpee Commons wished to adopt form-based code, which would be a regulatory tool to <br /> address a built environment,whereas traditional zoning dealt with use and dimension. Form- <br /> based code would regulate massing and the building's relationship to the street,with a defined <br /> character.
