I had started September-with two sessions on Fridays, however, some families were not able to aftend on Fridays. In order to accommodate these families, T.began offering the story time on Monday afternoons. T then had a handout for all Kiwanis members describing library services and the progress 6f the new building. The purpose of my visit was to request funding for bus transportation for all 8 first grade classes to have a field trip to the library. The Kiwanis generously agreed to sponsor this worthwhile literacy program for Mashpee" first graders. My school visits to all of the first grade classes tock place in October.
