Janet Burke exited the meeting-at :-1 -p.m.- <br /> Reports <br /> p,m,-e ori <br /> The regular monthly reports for the month of February from Helene DeFc and from Janet Burke were given to the <br /> Trustees. These reports are attached to the printed set of these minutes. <br /> Library Updates <br /> Helene provided update information on the new-library: <br /> • Security system ran into communication problems with the l lashpee firewall and that took about a week or so to <br /> resolve that issue. <br /> • Helene said she feels the dates the Trustees selected for opening the building on April 14 and April -1 ribbon- <br /> utting are still good dates. <br /> • PCC approved extending the lease for one month on the 3M conversion station with the proviso that it not <br /> exceed$100 cost for the one month is $392. <br /> • March 29th is moving clay to the'new library. Catherine Laurent has Sheriffs Department lined up for 3 days <br /> March 9-March3 1. <br /> • Centerville and west Barnstable are interested in taking shelving that we're not going to use in the new <br /> building. . <br /> • Janet Trask is collecting names of those volunteering to help with the move and afterwards, <br /> • Since Occupancy Permit issued,the building is a Town building and is currently under control of the Selectmen <br /> and PCC,.not under the contractor: <br /> • Architect was at the building today and he and Taylor were going around checking things, <br /> Jane Dolan commented that at the last POC meeting the punch list items have a date range from March-April. <br /> Helene advised that Stephanie Vosk from Cape Cod Times stopped by to talk with Helene about the new Library and <br /> p <br /> Ste hanie asked whether she could see the inside of the building. Helene called Catherine Laurent and left a message <br /> for Catherine to contact Stephanie, <br /> Fundin <br /> David asked whether or not there is any chance of an over-ride. Helene said she went to the Selectmen meeting on the <br /> and during that meeting Joyce made the statement that maybe this isn't the right ti <br />
