Cable Minutes
April 10, 20001
Page —2-
$26,783.80 and to still move forward with the purchase without a revote.
Some discussion ensues. The Board agrees to a 10% cap (not to exceed) on
the aforementioned total. The vote unanimously to go through with the
purchase along with the 10% cap.
NEW MEETING DATES
Mary O'Keeffe questions the Board as to the convenience of a meeting at
the AT&T "head end room". Some dates are discussed—nothing is settled.
The Committee will let her know.
FORMAT OF MINUTES
Andrew Eliason discusses the format of minutes with the Board Secretary
and they exchange email information. Mr. Eliason states he would like a
rough draft of the minutes emailed to him for editing. Upon changes being
completed he would then like hard copies to be distributed at the meeting.
i
Jim Chisholm questions Mary O'Keeffe on the process of complaints and
how one goes about making them. He would like to know who addresses
them and how, if at all, they are logged for statistical purposes. Discussion
continues on what types of complaints come in. Mary O'Keeffe mentions
often times technical people are sent out to fix customer errors. Jim
Chisholm again mentions he would like a tally of complaint for reference.
Mr. Chisholm asks is there has ever been a survey done on the customers
like/dislikes. What ever came of it and was it helpful? Mr. Eliason informs
the Board that a mandatory ascertainment procedure was done and it was
expensive. Mr. Eliason emphasized the survey had to be performed in an
unbiased fashion. Discussion ensued on various methods of remaining
unbiased. Mr. Etiason suggested a survey be put on the cable channel.
Marjorie Katsoulis noted that many"non technical" people often watch the
community channel and agreed that would be a good idea.
Jim Chisholm asks Mary O'Keeffe to send the Board some technical
advice/information.
