MASHPEE CABLE TELEVISION ADVISORY C ' 1 t46$ May 8, 2 001 Chairperson, Andrew Eliason brought the meeting to order at 3:05 p.m. Introduction: Andrew Eliason once again introduced Lori Corsi, the new board secretary to the committee for those not in attendance at the April 10, 2001 meeting. Doll Call: Andrew Eliason, Jim Chisholm, Lnli a Me ray, Joyce Mason, Marjorie I ats ulis, Joe I ellagala, MaryO'Keeffe of AT&T Broadband, Manager of Government Affairs and Bob Fensternaker. Andy Eliason handed out copies of the April 1 , 2001 minutes and the committee reviewed them for any changes. Motion t accept the minutes was made by Mr. Eliason and Marjorie I ats ulis seconded the motion. 1 lieu es Accepted. OLID BUSINESS: Andy Eliason asks Joyce Mason for an update on the financial status f the equipment being purchased. Joyce Mason states that the order came in under the allotted budget but has not yet arrived. The equipment should arrived at the end ofMay. Ms. Mason mentions that of the three quotes they received, the better of the companies carne in under $25,000. Discussion of the equipment's arrival ensues between several committee members. Lola McCray mentions to add more than three quotes and prices and to see her regarding that. NEWS vS RELEASE: Andy Eliason and Jim Chisholm present heir draft of a news release. Mr. Chisholm comments on the news release. They discuss a possible voting n a name change. 1r. Eliason would life the press release done noir. Discussion ensues regarding taking pictures of the committee—they agree to hold the rebase until the pictures are taken. Mr. Eliason asks that they please be called when the equipment arrives. Mr. Eliason addresses a comment of"who does this equipment belong toT` Mr. Eliason states "this equipment was purchased for use by the townspeople of i ashpee" and that there is no reed to mention in the news release "specific ownership The c nunittee agrees to pass the news release and pictures by the Board of Selectmen for their review before publishing.
