Moroney <br /> i <br /> Joyce Mason, Town Manager <br /> Meeting convened at about 3:15 after the Town Clerk's Office found us a <br /> place to meet in the lunch room. <br /> Mr. Bili Shea introduced Mr. James Moroney who has been one of the <br /> volunteers operating the control room in the Town Hall for nearly a year. <br /> Mr. Moroney said that he had attended today just to meet us and see <br /> what was going on at our meetings. We welcome and encourage that sort <br /> of contact. <br /> A discussion ensued regarding the use of volunteers who are paid a stipend <br /> of $10 per hour for operation of the control room and cameras for <br /> televised meetings. Mr. Moroney stated that he did not consider the <br /> money at all but hoped that his effort was appreciated as a public service. <br /> All present agreed that the pay was not enough to accomplish the original <br />
