As to the consoles...Scott is waiting to discuss this with Deputy Chief. Scott indicated he would like <br /> to have something in place soon since project will take 3 months to do,but must have all pieces lined <br /> up first. <br /> David I elyechio,Director N <br /> David provided following updates: <br /> • May 6—Tower survey done. <br /> • May 11 —Requested funds from MCAT. <br /> • May 1 - Ordered Comcast Cable. <br /> May 2 8—P.O. went into Direct Network. <br /> vork. <br /> June 4—Comcast cable in. It is super fast. <br /> • Mid-June—Equipment came in. <br /> • ,Tyne 1 —technical documentation was put together and given to Water Commission. <br /> • Last Friday Ethernet cable was run; and tomorrow equipment will be brought in. <br /> David explained that the delay right now is the Tower engineers recd more information. He said that <br /> tomorrow night the Water Department and Water Commission are meeting. Basically David feels <br /> what Water wants is for Vater Commission engineenng to confirm that ghat NflS engineering did is <br /> Okay with then. Until Vater Commission engineers sign off, we'll have to continue to pay <br /> Merrimack. <br /> Costs: To be on the safe side,Jing Chisholm said he will budget Merrimack through September for <br /> their monthly charge. David said that Comcast will cost$299. each month. <br /> Further,David advised that they're re-doing the whole website for Torn Hall through virtual Town <br /> Hall. He said they use software that allows us to cut and paste and put in e-mail. Posting and <br /> technical support is built into the cost. Industrial design/technical support is $6,000; then every year <br /> the cost will be about $3,000. <br /> Andy asked David to send hire any information via e-mail that would be of interest to MCAT Board <br /> and Andy will forward to the Board. David will do this. <br /> GIS PROJECT <br /> Eric Smith provided the update: <br /> Town had flyover survey done on.April 8, 2004 to give 1 lashpee geographic boundaries, etc. <br /> They provided prints to be used in GIS "building blocks". <br /> • GIS was last clone in 1997. Company they hired will be working to put all this data into <br /> system. <br /> • Eric handed out timetable and cosh(copy attached to printed set of these minutes). <br /> • Consultant Sells gill do pilot update around Mashpee Notary. <br /> o Consultant Sells did fly-over,but AGI is main consultant. AGI upgrades assessors maps <br /> even year. <br /> Eric said he will e-mail information to Andy tomorrow and will beep MCAT informed through e- <br /> mails to Andy. <br />
