On July 12, 2004 a proposal was drafted by CDM and <br /> submitted to the Assistant Planner. The Scope of Services for this proposal is as follows: <br /> Task 1 —Develop and Install GIS Intranet <br /> CDM will develop a GIS intranet for the Town using ArcIMS. To complete this process, the <br /> following subtasks will be completed. <br /> 1.1 Site Design Workshop — CDM will meet with the Town to review the goals of the project, <br /> identify required functionality of the system, review the Town's source files, and to design the <br /> overall "look and feel" of the application. The result of this workshop will be a preliminary site <br /> design and functionality specification that will be used as the base for application development. <br /> Also during this task, CDM will collect and organize all data files that will be incorporated into <br /> the ArcIMS application. These include shapefiles, annotation, geodatabases, the assessing <br /> database, and related items. <br /> 1.2 Develop ArcIMS Application —CDM will develop an ArclMS application that meets the <br /> required functionality of the Town's Request for Quote of Services, including: <br /> ■ Query of parcel by owner, location, lot number, or other field <br /> ■ Capability to view parcel information using one-to-one and one-to-many relationships <br /> ■ Ability to turn predefined layers on-and-off <br /> ■ Ability to select from a predefined grouping of layers via pull down menu <br /> ■ Basic custom query and buffer query capabilities <br /> ■ Ability to print address labels for the.selected parcel records or abutters lists <br /> ■ Ability to export a predefined list of fields to other applications <br /> ■ Capability to print standard maps of different sizes <br /> ■ Ability to Buffer a selected parcel by user defined distance and display related parcel information <br /> (Abutters) <br /> ■ Ability to "Identify"predefined features, such as parcels and utilities <br /> ■ Map functions such as zoom in, zoom out, measure, and identify <br /> 5 <br />
