The VectorEyes product can be purchased in two forms: Standard or Premium. Standard limits
the amount of available administration tools with a limit of 25 layers, 2 searches and a single
layer data query function. The Premium offers enhanced administration tools for unlimited
layers, unlimited searches and queries, and multiple layer data query functions. Given how
much more services are available under the Premium version, I recommend we consider that
option over the Standard.
A detailed breakdown cost estimate was provided by Full Circle Technologies for both the
Standard and Premium options." Given that I am recommending the Premium option, to follow is
the detailed breakdown cost estimate for the Premium option. CDM— Camp Dresser & McKee, Inc.
The third company that the Town has requested an estimate from is Camp Dresser & McKee,
Inc. (CDM). The Assistant Planner saw their demonstration at the NEARC GIS Conference in
Newport. Then after learning that the Town of Falmouth had awarded CDM to develop their
web-browser based GIS at a more competitive price versus the other two venders, the Assistant
Planner contacted the CDM representative and on July 9, 2004, the CDM sales representative
conducted a demonstration with the Assistant Planner and the MIS Director. This demonstration
provided a chance to see CDM's product, which is an ArcIMS-based product. A number of
4
