Joyce Mason reported that the County is coordinating again a <br /> consortium lice what was done before. Each town will have a-representative at the table for the <br /> negotiations. The plan i to use Ptrpsteir again as the attorney for the nsrtiurr . �he hay <br /> made it known that Il ashpee did want to be a part of it, so she will be looking for.volunteer help <br /> i <br /> from the Advisory Board. <br /> Joyce stated that one advantage to participating in the consortium is that there is someone <br /> coordinating all the public hearings, thus taking a lot of that responsibility oft the Towns. The <br /> County Administrator will be managing the program this year, so that it will be much.more open to . <br /> all the towns. Andrew Bliason recommended that a member from each Town cable committee be <br /> invited to their meetings, even if just as an observer. <br /> Financial Report r —Jim Chisholm <br /> Jim Chisholm distributed copies of an Advisory Board Revenue/Disbursements Review and <br /> Projections Report thru 2009. <br /> Jim noted that the Board allocated to pay$279,341-65 last year. The year before, the Board had <br /> allocated$238,000, but out of that was$84,000 that was,not paid in '032 ; but was paid out in <br /> '04-05. 1n '03204 the Board actually spent$151,943, but the following year, spent$$219}341. <br /> Jim stated that the Board cannot continue on that sane track. Andrew Biiason pointed out that <br /> the money had gone for specific projects like GIS photographer. Joyce Mason confirmed that she <br /> was not anticipating another such project that the Board would need to ponsider funding. <br /> One expense item on Fuge 1 of the report titled Warrant rhich carne to$1,099.56, was <br /> questioned. Joyce Mason will inquire as to what the item corers. <br /> Jim referred to Page 'l of the financial report. He noted that in '05206, the Board is starting off at <br /> 103,907.76. If everything is paid that is allocated, along with the $20,000 contingency, $45,'090 <br /> would remain t the end of the year. The$125,000 from Cable would leave$174,000 at the end <br /> of next year. .Jim referred to the figures on page 3 of his report. If nothing charges, from '0 —'o <br /> to the end of the contract, $434,000 would remain.ain. `I`he' 20 projected PBG balance i <br /> $35,938. The Board agreed that the budget looks Very healthy. .dim will be preparing another <br /> report the end of September. <br /> Andrew Elia on requested that the expense item on Page I titled Police Network be changed to <br /> Police Wipatch. <br /> The special meeting of the Cable&Advanced Technology Advisory Board is scheduled for <br /> Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2005, at 3:00 PM at Town Heli, Conference Poon 2.
