Llita McCray motioned to accept the minutes of the Meeting of November ber l , <br /> 2005 as read; Janes Chisholm seconded the notion; and it was unam*mously approved. <br /> Staffinp,Discussions <br /> Andrew Eliason advised that Richard Talmadge who was the candidate to take over some of the technical <br /> responsibilities done by Bill Shea has been in touch with Joyce Mason and he declined the position <br /> because he doesn't feel he has the time to spend on it. <br /> Andrew stated that Joyce Mason also told hien the staff in the office are now doing the tape labeling and <br /> some of the other tasks we brought to question and Joyce said`don't worry about it". He said he is very <br /> happy to wash his hands of it since MCAT hoard is not in the business ofjob hunting. Joyce has stated <br /> that she feels there is definitely a need for another person with technical experience and also a need for <br /> more technicians. <br /> Maxine commented that it's not just the taping. This past week a couple of things were not done and that <br /> she had to do then. Maxine suggested that perhaps Joyce wasn't aware of that. Example provided by <br /> Maxine, A meeting scheduled for Blue Ribbon Committee...tapes were labeled ready to go but they were <br /> not set up and so Maxine had to do it. Andrew asked whether it is above and beyond call of duty for <br /> Mane to do that. Maxine responded no,but Bill Shea had done this in the past and this means more and <br /> more responsibilities are being added to the technician's responsibility and she feels that if added t <br /> technician's responsibilities the monetary consideration should then be more. <br />
