Up to now the system <br /> - his been maffitained for the purpose of supporting plaxuiing efforts and the creation of the <br /> Assessor's annual tax.maps. With the increased use the ton will see: <br /> • A demand for better, more organized distribution of the data and software <br /> • <br /> More cpabilities with regard to supporting field-operations <br /> • Use by Multiple departments as a tool for long,term planning <br /> Infrastructure management and planning <br /> • Public kiosks for ease access to the system at public access p9ints in town, i.e. <br /> ton hall, the library and the senior center. <br /> • And more... <br /> NEEDS <br /> A plan for developing the. system. infrastructure for supporting this type of GIS <br /> environment 'is in the process of being developed.
