Andrew Ellason added that is one of the <br /> questions he has for Mary O'Keeffe. He asked Mary to Borne to the meeting to tell us the impact on the <br /> digital boxes, etc. Hoverer, Mary could not make this meeting,but hopefully will cone to the next <br /> meeting. Joyce Mason said if Mary comes l and explains then Town could have a blurb put on the cable <br /> TV and also a link on'down Website to inf rm residents. <br /> lcnest for Funds <br /> David I elVecc io addressed the Board on behalf of Tom Mayo. Attached to the printed set of these <br /> minuteg is the memo from Tom Mayo requesting$2,500 for the purchase of Spatial Analyst software <br /> license, which is a robust `JIS analysis tool. <br /> Motion: James Chisholm motioned that the Board approve the$2,500 request from Tom Mayo for <br /> the GIS software as expressed in his memo of April 22, 2008; Lolita MeCray seconded this motion; <br /> and it was unanimously approved. <br /> Joyce.mason explained to the Board'that Town is going to be doing satellite sticker sales from the <br /> Chamber of Commerce Center during tourist season and a wirelesg bridge is needed to start the operation. <br /> She is requesting$1,000 for the wireless bridge. <br /> Motion: Janes Chisholm motioned that the Board recommends to the Board of Selectmen <br /> approval of$1,000 for the purchase of a wireless bridge to be used to do satellite sticker sales from <br /> the Chamber of Commerce Center as requested-by the Town Manager; Lolita McCray seconded <br /> the motion; and it was unanimously approved. <br /> David I elVecchio explained that when Woven Clerk is issuing stickers they have to access the munis <br /> system to be sure the applicant is not delinquent in tax payments. -Joyce explained that under law, stickers <br /> or licenses cannot be issued to anyone who is delinquent in payment. David cxplained that data <br /> manipulator software would tie-in to mss and Clerk's office would not have to go to mums system for <br /> access. He said other tons, such as Harwich, are using this data manipulator software. Joyce said the <br /> cost is up to $2,000. <br /> Motion: Janes Chisholm motioned that the Board recommends to the Board of Selectmen <br /> approval of up,to $2,000 for the purpose of data manipulator software development for sticker <br /> tracker use as recommended by toe Town Manager; Lolita McCray seconded this motion; and it <br /> was unanimously approved. <br /> Finally,Joyce alerted the Board that the Library building committer may be approaching this Board to <br /> request funds for computers for the new library building. She estimates it may be about$50,000 needed. <br /> Lolita suggested they present their request as soon as possible. Joyce said she will bring it up at the <br /> subcommittee meting tomorrow. <br /> Old Enuipment <br /> Lolita asked Joyce what is done with Town surplus equipment that is no longer usable by Town. Joyce ' <br /> said it is put out to auction and is offered to employees first and then to the community at large. <br /> M <br />
