MASHP COUNCIL ON ACING <br /> DECEMBER 131 1995 <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT ALSO PRESENT <br /> Betty Jones, Chairman/Sec. Jim Long, Director <br /> Miriam Mullin, V. Charman Lynne Waterman, outreach <br /> Arthur Weinstein, Treasurer Coordinator <br /> Aurora Bird <br /> Frank Hicks <br /> Robert Osborn <br /> . Jean Thomas <br /> The Chairman opened the meeting at 10:05 Ali 'at the Caro. H-. <br /> Jacobson Senior Center. <br /> Arthur Weinstein made a motion to accept the Secretary' s Report <br /> and it was seconded by Frank Hicks, 8o moved. <br /> The Treasurer' s Report was handed out and discussed. We seem to <br /> e in very good shape at this point in time, Frank Hicks made a <br /> motion to accept the report and it was seconded by Bob Osborn. So <br /> moved. <br /> The Director' s Report was read and the Council was very happy to <br /> learn that the CDA was the recipient of a grant from the Executive <br /> Office of Communities and Development for the purpose of <br /> purchasing and operating a Senior Van. Bob Osborn offered to look <br /> into a bulletin board for the front hall instead of posting all <br /> the notices on the door,. etc. The Director also obtained a $1500 <br /> grant to pursue intergenerational programs designed for special <br /> populations of elders and youngsters. Frank Hicks made a motion <br /> to accept the Director' s Report and it was seconded by Mimi <br /> Mullin. So moved. <br /> The outreach Coordinator handed out her report and it was <br /> discussed with the-CoA, Lack of affordable housing continues t <br /> be an issue. Bob Osborn rade a motion to accept the report as <br /> written and it was seconded by Arthur Weinstein. So moved. <br /> On December` l8 an open house is being planned by the CCA and all <br /> seniors will be welcome. The children from the second grade will <br /> entertain the seniors with Christmas Carols. <br /> Mimi Mullin made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 11:15 AM and <br /> * t was seconded by Bob Osborn.
