IA HPEE COMMONS ADVISORY COMMITTEE P i E TWO IAS H PE E TOWN HALL 'EB ITA Y 27 , 1996 in the discussion of 'gout Pond an idea was proposed by Fields Point representatives that the pond could possibly be used for winter skating and summer strolling . Mr . Dinizio commented was that the Hotel might want to prohibit this and that it only be accessible to Hotel guests . Mr. Bini io added that there should be some sort of walkway and parking south of the pond near the woodlands . Mr . Stors further added that the Hotel that was being discussed was a well regarded hotel and the interest of the weer focused on the aspect of a retreat hotel with walking :to the village, having a watervie 7. Mr . Potts indicated he would like to i see some distance between buildings and the pond. Also discussed with the Fields Point representatives was that they would be seekincr a. 30 , 000 sq. foot store for the Commons vs a 60 , 000 sq. foot store . Comments from the committee were that the townspeople would like to see more inexpensive clothing stores . . Chace indicated that he would be meeting with the retailers and townspeople regarding the retail needs of Maspe , Mr. Potts stated that he had heard of a demand for more professional offices . PUBLIC C MENT Comments were made about signage problems in the Mashpee Rotary Area and that a. consultation with the Design Review Committee should be sought before finalization of plans were completed. AGENDA FOR MEETING F MARC14 1 , 1996 Mr . Chace informed the committee that a, financial analyst would be attending the meeting to discuss impact analysis and that the likes/dislikes of the Commons would be discussed. Also to be discussed will be Comments on the Plan and Areas for plan revision. Mr . Ferguson moved to adjournthe meeting at 7 : 00 p.m. Mr. Din i io seconded the motion. All were in favor.
