Town of Mashpee <br /> ashpee Commons Advisory Committee <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> October 7, 1997 <br /> The Mashpee Cormuons Advisory Committee meeting r was called to <br /> order in Conference Room #1, Mashpee Town Hall, 16 Great Neck <br /> Road North, mashpee, Massachusetts,husetts, at 4 : 35 p.m. on Tuesday, <br /> October 7, 1997 . The Chairman, Peter Dini io, presided. <br /> committee members present : Peter Dinizio, Selectman; <br /> Kenneth 1 arsters, Selectman; Robert whritenour, Executive <br /> Secretary; Thomas Fudala, Town Planner. <br /> Absent ,-, John Kuchinski, Planning Board Member. <br /> Also present: Robert Brais, office of Thomas J. Martin; <br /> Douglas Storrs, Mashpee Conmons Ltd. Partnership. <br /> Informal Discussion <br /> There were approximately twenty o members ber of the general <br /> public present. Prior to the official opening of the meeting, <br /> there was some informal discussion. Selectman Marsters explained <br /> Mr. rais ' function, as consultant to the Town of mashpee. Mr. <br /> rais f professional services are being financed b Monies <br /> received, by war of a gift to the Town, from Mashpee Conunons Ltd. <br /> Partnership. There is no danger of conflict of interest issues. <br /> Mr. Brais represents the Town of Mashpee exclusively. Mr. Brais <br /> further explained this to be a fairly common business practice. <br /> Selectman Iarsters stated the Town representatives are <br /> trying to accumulate as much information as possible in order to <br /> male a sound decision- regarding the zoning issue. <br /> The Town Planner clarified current zoning and residential <br /> locations within the project . <br /> 1r. Storrs stated every effort is being made to arrange for <br /> a meeting with the Deer crossing Homeowners Association in an <br /> attempt to answer any and all questions. <br /> Selectman Dinizio introduced himself as Chairman, and called <br /> the Meeting to order. He welcomed public input/participation. <br /> He commented on his wish to experience a successful Town Meeting, <br /> and to present a proposal supported by everyone. <br /> Selectman Dinizio then explained the structure of the <br /> Meeting to be Public Comment; identification of Speakers for the <br /> benefit of the Recording Secretary. <br /> Public comment <br /> The following is a chronological list of speakers having <br /> been duly recognized by the Chairman: <br />
