Letter from the Mashpee Taxpayers Association requesting equipment <br /> installed n Selectmen's room (see attached). The committee also is <br /> requesting this and will add her request to theirs. Mr. Schwartz reiterated <br /> his intolerance of fined cameras. Mrs. O'Keefe explained that the Town <br /> Hall was not vred for modulator to be used for bulletin board and <br /> selectmen's office. <br /> Letter from Mr. Robert Collins asking for a local telephone number to call <br /> instead of an 800 number (see attached). <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> The committee expressed concern about the Media One customer <br /> representative staff. There have been reports of customers experiencing <br /> long waiting periods and then getting cut off. Mr. Deusser stated that he <br /> felt that Media One should have planned better for support staff during the <br /> transition. There have also been reports of many problems'with bones <br /> converting to the new system. <br /> Mr. Eliason attended a meeting at C3TV with the Cape Cod Consortium <br /> and requested that other comma tee members visit the studio. He <br /> distributed a copy of a latter received by C3T . They would request <br /> 2.25% of the gross for operating if they were to take over Mashpee <br /> community television and would like capital equipment and expenses. Mr. <br /> Schwartz stated that he does not like the idea of someone else operating <br /> the town's responsibility. He would like it to-remain a town operation. Mr. <br /> Deusser stated concern of loosing control of local programming and <br /> questioned why C3 increased their request from 2 to 2.25%. <br /> Ir.
