Town of Mashpee <br /> ashpee Commons Advisory Committee <br /> may 19, 1998 <br /> The mashpee Commons Advisory Committee Meeting was <br /> called to order in Conference Hoorn # 1, 1ashpe Town Hall, 1 <br /> Great Neck Road North, mashpee, Massachusetts, at p.m. o <br /> Tuesday, may 19, 1998 . The Chairman, Kenneth marsters, presided. <br /> Committee Members present: Kenneth Mar ters, Selectman; <br /> an; <br /> Robert Whrlt '.nous, Executive Secretary: F. Thomas Fudala, Town <br /> Planner; Sally Bold; Melbourne Cragwel l; and John Ferguson. <br /> Absent : John Kuchinski, Planning Board Berber; Antoinette <br /> Brooks; Stephen Bro ato; and Robert Lynch. <br /> Also present: Arnold Chace and Douglas Storrs, Mashpee <br /> Corns Ltd. Partnership. <br /> Members of the Public in attendance: Edward Baler; Beverly <br /> Kane; and Paul Lumbsden. <br /> The Chairman declared a quorum to be present, called the <br /> Meeting to order, and deferred to lir, whritenour. <br /> Mr. whritenour made reference to Fax dated April 23, 1998, <br /> to Robert Whritenour, from the Office of Thomas J. Martin. Mr. <br /> whriteuou.r provided copies for all Committee Members. <br /> 1r. whritenour explained a request had been made of the <br /> Office of Thomas J. Martin for a proposal regarding the <br /> finalization of studies. said request having been done in a <br /> draft form. The outstanding key items are Fiscal Impact studies, <br /> Environmental Studies, and Traffic Impact Studies. <br /> Mr. whritenour stated the estimate is up to Twenty Thousand <br /> ($20, 000 . 00) Dollars for the completion of all studies. AS Mr. <br /> whritenour~ feels the amount quoted is high, he phoned Mr. Brais <br /> who stated the fiscal impact would require the majority of work, <br /> and that he had included an additional sure to the environmental <br /> and traffic studies, as he is unsure as to the exact amount of <br /> work required for completion of these two studies. <br /> Mr. whritenour suggested further communication be made with <br /> the development consultant in order to complete studies and <br /> provide a documentation by the October Town Meeting. <br /> Mr. Ferguson objected to the word "anticipated" as used in <br /> the April 23, -1998 FAX. He also pointed out that travel time and <br /> meeting attendance expenses are to be considered in addition to <br /> the Eight Thousand ($8, 00 0 - 00) Dollar professional fee quoted. <br /> At this point, Mr. Chace requested the future of this <br /> process be discussed, in order to determine how future monies <br /> F <br />
