Discussion-Fiscal Impact study mr.. Storrs reported that all of the base information and results of extensive interviews with various Town Departments have been compiled and forwarded to Ti.shler Associates. Upon receipt of the Public works information and completion of the study, it will be mai,fled to the Committee members prior to the next scheduled meet ing, mr.. Whritenour eisked if a copy of the fiscal impaet study could be forwarded to the Office of Thomas mas . Martin. Mr. Storrs sugrgestedthis Committee discui§s the matter. Selectman an ars ers .suggested the Committee should have the opportunity to review the study, make a. list of questions, and then submit them to- the Office of Thomas J. He acknowledged the presence . f Planning Board member, Chant( Reichel, and commented having him on the Committee was a "good step. ,, By way of suggesting a means to improve communication, Mr. Storrs -su'gges ted 'shpee Commons Ltd. Partnership (MCLP) appear before the Planning Board for the purpose of discussing, the Commercial enter OSID Bylaw amendments being discussed by this Committee. Mr. Storrs informed- the Q m mittee MCLP has been - scheduled on the July 1, 1998 Planning Board agenda for this purpose. N±. Storrs stated he felt it would be beneficial to th process if there were representatives of this Committee in attendance at said July lst Meeting as well . He reminded, the Committee that one of the goals . f the .Bylaw am ndment s is to improve development throughout the Town of mashpee, not purely to benefit Mashpee Commons. Be further stated hi.s- opinion that if this were more widely understood, perhaps the voters would be more receptive. Chance Reichel agreed, commenting there was no one from this Committee/MCLP in at tendon e at the April 22, _ 1998 Bl arming Board Meeting to present that perspective. It was noted that the Town Planner had been present and had spoken on behalf of the Committee. Mr. Reichel commetted that pethapp it would have made a greater impact had someone else from the. Committee/MCLP been an attendance as well in order to offer their support. Mr.. Reicher further agreed that attending Planning Board Meetings on a monthly/bimonthly basi.s would be h 1pful . Mr. Storrs suggested the next meeting of this Committee should occur after the July 1st Planning Board meeting, and i�ugge ted date of. Tuesday, l:� 7, 1998 . He also made reference to the importance of the Town Planner' s i nvol cement in discussions in this regard. - -
