Memorandum Page 3 <br /> Town of Mashpee—Plan Review <br /> August 14,2005 <br /> I also reviewed other Zoning Bylaws for Cape towns. The towns of Falmouth, Bourne, <br /> Sandwich and Barnstable do not specifically reference parking requirements for automotive <br /> repair. The Town of Yarmouth, however, does. Attached is a copy of the Town of Yarmouth <br /> bylaw that pertains to use and parking. Yarmouth classifies the use under Section 202.5,Use <br /> Regulations, Section L., Motor Vehicle Services, Mechanical Repair Shop (Page 19). Under <br /> Section 301.5, Table of Parking Demand, the parking required for uses under Section L is 1 <br /> Space/2 Occupants for a total of 3 parking spaces (Page 32). <br /> Mr. Maintanais also indicated that 1 or 2 additional handicapped parking spaces may be required, <br /> although it was not known at the time that 2 handicapped parking spaces are already provided on <br /> site. If additional handicapped parking is required, parking spaces can be added to the site plan. <br /> There is sufficient room to add parking in an area that is already paved. <br /> The Fire Department indicated that a plan was needed to be sure that the sprinkler system still <br /> meets the requirements for this use. It is not known if plans were available or reviewed. We will <br /> provide the Fire Department with whatever information is needed to assist, if need be. <br /> A O.
