Mas pee Planning & construction Committee Minutes of Meeting Held Tuesday, April 1, 2008 Mashpee Town Hall Committee Members Present: Members Absent: Also Present; Stege Cook Joe Bract Catherine Laurent, DPW .Janice Mills Helene DeFoe,Libradan Irving Goldberg Nancy Soderberg, Library Sheldon Gilbert, Trustee Eugene Smargon Kevin S h ackett Tricia Parolski, Ex Officio Chairman Stere Cook called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Approval of Minutes of 18108. 1t was moved, seconded and passed that the Committee approve as presented the minutes from the meeting of 3/18/08. LIBRARY Review iew f Action Log Stere Cook stated that the log was set up by Rick Ponhroy, Project Manager, as ongoing open items to address regarding the library project. Items number 35 through 1 on the log were reviewed. Item 3 _ Site plan submission filing to the Board of Selectmen. Steve stated that archit ct Roberts pians to core to-the library sub-committee meeting tomorrow with a finalized development plan,for presentation to B S by 4/14/08.- Item /14/0 .{Item 3 —Presentation to Board of Selectmen. Once the site plan is finalized, it will be R presented to the Board of Selectmen. Item 37— Site plan submission filing to Design and Plan Regrew Commitee by 4/16108 for a 4124108 presentation. Item 38—Presentation to Design and Plan review Committee— by 4124108 Items 39-4 —Site Plan submission filing to Zoning hoard of Appeals for a setback off of Jobs Fishing Road and Steeple Street, by 4122108 for a 5114108 heanng. r Stene Cook stated that Patience Jackson is working together with Stewart Roberts on the design plans, giving her final comments'. - There are site lighting and landscaping issues to be discussed at a meeting tomorrow afternoon wfth Mashpee Commons. Any major sterns that come up within the next two to three weeks may require another extra meeting of the committee. Temporary Library Location Stere Cook stated that he is Dandling this project with Catherine Laurent and Helene DeFoe. Cathedne Laurent reported that the agreement is being reviewed by Town Counsel. The location is in South Cape pillage on .Joy Street, Buildings 5 and 7. Joyce Mason, cathen'ne Laurent, Steve Cook and Ernest Virgilio will be meeting tomorrow at the site. Ernest Virgilio is the Project Manager for South Cape pillage, outfitting the spaces, and also is working for the Planning'and Construction Committee as Clerk of the Works for the Fire Station project.
