Fire Substation# continued <br /> Motion: Janice Dills motioned that we approve the cost estimate furniture schedule for Fire <br /> Substation#2 presented by Chief Baker;Irving Goldberg seconded this motion; and it was <br /> unanimously approved. <br /> Chief Baker commented that the Contractor was extremely good during this close-out period. He said the <br /> electrician even assisted a vendor in getting some of the work done. <br /> Chief Baler exited the meeting at 7:45 p.m. <br /> Cape Light...Catherine reported the rebate amount is$2,169.00. <br /> Invoices...Following invoices were submitted for approval for payment: <br /> • 2 , 7.2 —Barbato Construction <br /> • 2, . 0 Ernie Virgilio <br /> Motion: Sheldon Gilbert motioned that the 2 invoices submitted he approved for payment; Janice <br /> Mills seconded this motion; and It was unanimously approved. <br /> Rick Pomroy exited the meeting. <br /> Conflict of Interest Workshop...Catherine distributed copies of the handout given at this workshop. <br /> Other Business <br /> Janice.Mills said she was reviewing the town Charter today and it states this Committee is not only in <br /> charge of building, but also maintenance of town buildings. She said maybe it's time to renew the list,of <br /> maintenance needed at town buildings and perhaps Joyce can inform people through supervisors that they <br /> shouldn't change buildings without approval of this Committee. Joyce said she will pass this along to the <br /> department heads. Stere said since Catherine 1s liaison to this Committee,maybe she can ging things to <br /> the attention of the Committee. Sheldon Gilbert pointed out that procedure/accountability are two issues <br /> to look at. It was also pointed out that the Charter cited maintenance/upkeep, not day-to-day things. The <br /> last budget cycle town was looking at hiring someone to look at all the buildings. Joke said she will <br /> forward information to Catherine about what other municipalities have done.
