Fire Station No. o Current Progress—The project is in the final stage of completion and the team expects to begin the punch list inspections on Friday September ''. 'We would expect that the GC would be complete with the punch list,equipment training and off of the project no latter ten the end of the month. Final paving will be put off until the end of September. o Project Schedule — The contractor was required by contract to achieve substantial completion September 1, 2008, after which liquidated damages are assessed at the rate of$1,000.00 per day. PA would recommend an extension of the substantial completion date to September 12, 2008 at no penalty to the contractor. PA still expects that the project 100 complete with punch list, turnover documentation and ready for operation by the rid to end of September 2008. o Quality of Work — The quality of work on site remains excellent. The General Contractor maintains full time site supervision and Mashpee's on-site Clerk continues to be on site for approximately 2 hours per week. o Landscaping—The project landscaping has been bid out and a contract let. work should begin 1n the second week of September. o Town Vendors — The fire station radio/equipment vendor is on site and installing the purchased equipment, the telephone vendor is on site and DD has initiated the purchase of the wireless access components. o Technology/Computers—leo new information. o Vehicle Exhaust Recovery System—Contract has been let to Murphy Industries as of 9/2/08:.. o Furnishings—Presentation of proposed furnishings by GB. o Project Changes — Please see the attached PCO/Change Order Log. Change Order #4 has been modified. o Project lFI's—There are no outstanding RFP s at this time. o Project Budget—Please see the attached Development Budget o Open Issues at This Time— Cape Light Compact has completed its review and analysis.
