Mashpee Planning and Construction Committee <br /> Minutes of Meeting Held Monday,January 5, 2009 <br /> Meeting Room 3 <br /> Committee Members Present: Steve Cook, Irving Goldberg,Janice Mills, Devin Shackett, <br /> Eugene Smargon, Sheldon Gilbert, and Joe Brait, <br /> Absent: Tricia Parolski Officio Member). <br /> Also Present: Catherine Laurent,DPW <br /> Rick Pomroy, Pomroy Associates <br /> Jane Dolan–'Liaison,, Library Trustees <br /> Chairman Steve Cook called the meeting to order at 6:05 p.m. <br /> Approval of Minutes <br /> Janice Mills motioned to accept the minutes of the Meeting of December 4, 2008; Kevin <br /> Shackett seconded the notion; and the notion was approved, with Steve Cook and Irving <br /> Goldberg abstaining. <br /> Fire Substation ## <br /> Rick Pomroy updated the Committee on the Fire Substation project as detailed in his written <br /> project update that is attached to the printed set of these minutes. Rick informed the Committee <br /> that since Bayside has filed for bankruptcy we went to Glynn Electric for a quote on the power <br /> wiring for the vehicle Exhaust Recovery System. The quote is for$2,650,00. <br /> Motion: Janice Mills motioned that we approve the Glynn electric quote of$2,650.00 for <br /> the power wiring for the Vehicle Exhaust Recovery System; Gene Smargon seconded this <br /> motion; and it was unanimously approved. <br /> Iry Goldberg raised a concern as to whether or not there was any cost control in place insofar as <br /> Fire Department funn <br />
