r <br /> Libra . r je t. continued <br /> Book Management System...The NELINET proposal submitted to the Committee(attached to the printed <br /> set of these minutes) in the amount of$43,545 was discussed. <br /> Motion: Sheldon Gilbert motioned to accept as proposed the book management system and to ask <br /> Town Manager to solicit bids for the system as laid out in the proposal;Janice Mills seconded this <br /> motion and it was unanimously approved. <br /> Development ment Bud et,,,The current budget was reviewed and shows the contingency fund amount is <br /> $555,186asofMay3O, 2009. Steve Cook suggested that the items that were done(such as the move)be <br /> removed from the budget and zeroed out. Rick said next month he will give a report on how much was <br /> spent for line items and thea we'll have actual expenditures shoving. <br /> Furniture...J, Stewart Roberts is gather*ng furniture samples. Sheller asked whether we can have access to <br /> catalog source just to see all options that are available. Shelly repeatedly said that Stewart Roberts <br /> doing great job for us in showing furniture out there,but we'd just like to see all that's available. Janice <br /> Mills suggested that sometimes vendors all show their wares at convention-type showings; and also asked <br /> what about design houses. <br /> Donation wall...The Committee reviewed the:Friend's suggestion for the donation wall and consensus <br /> was to go back to the Friends to see if a resolution can be reached with the limitation of size of the wall at <br /> square feet. It was suggested that the Friends may want to look at washed stone with plaques,but you <br /> cannot differentiate donor amounts on this type of wall, <br /> Motion: Janice Mills motioned to set up a meeting with the Friends of the Mashpee Library and <br /> Planning and Construction Committee to discuss donation wall pians; Joe gait seconded this <br /> motion; and it was unanimously passu. <br /> Time Capsule - <br /> Steve Cook said the Board of Library Trustees presented a proposal For a Time Capsule to be placed in <br /> the new library building. Because of a number of factors, such as costs and time lag delays,the <br /> Subcommittee decided to place the.Time Capsule outside in a vault with a plaque at the flag pole. Steve <br /> advised that Jane Dolan said rather than placing outside,they were looking to put Time Capsule furniture <br /> inside and Steve asked Jane Dolan to present what is going to go in the Time Capsule,as well as the Time <br /> Capsule furniture being proposed. Rick Pornroy commented that they do make nice Time Capsule <br /> Furniture. <br /> Invoices...Following invoices were submitted for approval for payment and Rick f mroy stipulated that <br /> although being approved for payment the check to Buf`tree will not be released until all Payroll <br /> Certificates have been received. <br /> $437,595.65 - Buhr a Bldg.Co. <br /> 221140.85—J.
